Margot and Wendy

Margot and Wendy are old friends of mine. This painting shows them in a circumstance in which they never were. Thus it is an imagined scene, collaged from memory, google image searches and observations of my own body. It is a visual tale of somatic exploration. Margot and Wendy are both students of the body's mysteries, how it is somatically experienced in relationship to the intellect and emotions. I will not reveal all the mysteries of this painting here, but suffice it to say that the painting is full of the unknown and is still unfolding.
